6 . <br /> Mayor Bury ordered a five-minute recess at 9 :20 P . M . <br /> PUBLIC HEARING , Application of Albert 0 . Engel , to amend the Zoning Map to <br /> rezone property , adjoining Harbor Village Mobile Home Park ( 3015 East <br /> Bayshore Frontage Road ) ; from " CN 't (Neighborhood Commercial ) District , <br /> to "R-2-T " (Residential-Duplex-Transient Residential Units ) District , <br /> declared open, and affidavits of publication and mailing ordered filed . <br /> No communications were received . <br /> Mr . Albert Engel , Sr . , 2533 Round Hill Drive , <br /> Alameda , owner of Harbor Village Mobile Homes , <br /> appeared on behalf of his son , the applicant , <br /> to request that the hearing be continuned until <br /> such time as certain difficulties with the City <br /> Engineering Staff can be resolved . <br /> Since it was necessary to continue the matter to a definite time , Mr . <br /> Engel was requested to specify a date which would be satisfactory to <br /> him . <br /> Councilman Petersen moved to continue the public hearing on this application <br /> to April 19 , 1971 , seconded by Councilman Weymouth . Mayor Bury advised <br /> Mr . Engel that there would be no additional notification relative to the <br /> public hearing . Motion carried . (MINUTE ORDER #71-46-A ) <br /> PUBLIC HEARING , Application of REDWOOD DRIVE--IN THEATRE, INC . , to amend the <br /> Zoning Map to rezone property located at 555- 565 East Bayshore Frontage <br /> Road ; being unsubdivided acreage having a general description of a Portion <br /> of north one -half of southeast one - quarter of Section 18 T5SR3W, MDB&M ; <br /> from "TP " (Tidal Plain ) District to "IR " ( Industrial Restricted ) District , <br /> to a depth of 240 feet back from the Frontage Road , declared open and <br /> affidavits of publication and mailing ordered filed . <br /> Fire Chief indicated his Department had no objection to the proposed <br /> rezoning , but was concerned as to the traffic problem at certain times , <br /> where apparatus could not operate . He urged that study be made to provide <br /> additional means of ingress and egress in that particular area . <br /> Mayor Bury inquired if applicant was present , and Planning Director responded <br /> that he had been contacted by the applicant as to necessity of being present , <br /> since there apparently was a conflicting appointment , but explained to <br /> Planning Director some of the things he might have been called upon to <br /> answer . <br /> A drawing of the development plan which depicted two proposed new theaters <br /> was discussed . Council was informed that the new theaters would be similar <br /> in size and nature to the Century Theaters in San Jose . Councilman <br />
