Resolution approving and authorizing agreement between County and City relating to property interests being acquired in connection with the SCSP project . Councilman Henderson indicated she would prefer that the matter be held over to permit Council the opportunity to review the agreement , and moved that the matter be held over until the next Council meeting (March 22nd ) , seconded by Councilman Rhodes and carried , (MINUTE ORDER #71 -48 ) Request for assignment of L . C . Smith contract , Marlin Subdivision ff1 Improvements) GID 1 -64 . Contract documents require City consent of any assignment of contract . L . C . Smith and Bank of America had requested consent of the City for assignment of the contract to Bank of America , Consent of the City is conditioned upon similar consent by the contract surety . Councilman Weymouth moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO . 6468 CONSENTING TO ASSIGNMENT OF CERTAIN CONTRACT INTERESTS - L . C . SMITH COMPANY (MARLIN SUBDIVISION NO , 1 IMPROVEMENTS ) , seconded by Councilman Keckley . City Manager advised that he had contacted the Joseph A . Wynn Agency , who are the insurance carriers , to discuss this , and was assured they would provide a letter of consent . As of that time , the letter had not been received , but he recommended that Council proceed , with the under- standing the matter would go no further until the letter is in hand . City Attorney assured Council the agreement was so prepared , Motion carried on roll call vote . Councilman Weymouth moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO . 6469 RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO . 6416 RELATING TO APPOINTMENT OF ACTING CITY CLERK ; AND , COMMENDING FRANCES I , REGGETTS ON HER PERFORMANCE OF THE DUTIES OF CITY CLERK DURING THE PERIOD OF HER APPOINTMENT , seconded by Councilman Henderson and carried on roll call vote , Report regarding proposed recreation facilities , San Francisco watershed lands . City Manager advised that , in accordance with the directive of Council , he had submitted a report on the present status of recreation facilities on San Francisco watershed lands . At request of Council , the report was read in full by City Manager , in which he indicated discussions with John D . Crowley , General Manager of Public Utilities , Public Utilities Commission, City and County of San Francisco , of their plans for design , financing and construction of golf courses and other recreation facilities . The PUC has invited written proposals no later than April 1 , 1971 . Estimated cost of the facility is 7 million dollars .
