77 <br /> PUBLIC HEARING , Resolution of Intention of the Planning Commission to amend the <br /> Zoning Map to rezone property recently annexed into Redwood City, located on <br /> Turn Suden Way , being also known as Edgewood Hills Annexation No . 2 , containing <br /> 0 . 216 acres , from "IS " (Interim Study) District to "RH" (Residential-Hillside ) <br /> District , declared open and affidavits of publication and mailing ordered <br /> filed . Planning Commission at meeting of February 9 , 1971 , had unanimously <br /> recommended approval of the amendment to the Zoning Map , following a public <br /> hearing . <br /> Joseph Cervini , 10109 Judy Avenue , Cupertino , <br /> advised he owned property on Jefferson Avenue , <br /> and questioned purpose of this action . <br /> Planning Director was requested to respond , and he explained that all property <br /> annexed to the City was subject to rezoning . Previous to annexation and while <br /> still in unincorporated area , the property had the County ' s zoning designation . <br /> Following annexation , it is placed in the " IS " , or Interim Study District , and <br /> within 40 days , specific zoning category must be initiated . Lots adjacent to <br /> the one under consideration are zoned R-H, and it seemed logical to have the <br /> same zoning for this piece of property . <br /> There being no communications or further discussion , Councilman Petersen moved <br /> to close the public hearing , seconded by Councilman Keckley and carried . <br /> Councilman Petersen moved to introduce Ordinance adding Section 60 . 18 . 3 to <br /> Ordinance No . 1130 , the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance , rezoning property <br /> in the vicinity of Tum Suden Way and California Way , seconded by Councilman <br /> Henderson and carried . <br /> PUBLIC HEARING , Resolution of Intention of the Planning Commission to amend <br /> Section 3139, Ordinance No . 1130 , the Zoning Ordinance , relating to temporary <br /> fireworks sales facilities , declared open and affidavit of publication ordered <br /> filed . Planning Commission had unanimously recommended approval of the <br /> amendment following a public hearing on February 9, 1971 . <br /> Councilman Keckley advised that the Ordinance Review Committee , of which he <br /> is Chairman , had reviewed the amendment , and recommended it be approved . <br /> There being no communications or further discussion , Councilman Henderson moved <br /> to close the public hearing , seconded by Councilman Williams and carried . <br /> Councilman Keckley moved to introduce Ordinance amending Section 31 . 19 of <br /> Ordinance No . 1130 , the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Redwood City, relating <br /> to Temporary Fireworks Sales Facilities , seconded by Councilman Petersen and <br /> carried . <br />
