186 <br />Staff report indicated the area involved in the deed is occupied by Sea Scout <br />Ship No. 145 under Revocable Permit from the City, and the agreement extends <br />previous Gift Deed for an additional five years. Area is located on the levee <br />(across the berthing area from Harbor Master's Office), and continued use would <br />not conflict with anticipated development of Marina facilities. Motion carried <br />on roll call vote. <br />Resolution approving plans and specifications and authorizing call for bids for <br />relocation of Harbor Master's Control Office. <br />City Manager described this action as relating to relocation of Control Office <br />to accommodate the new restaurant, which is necessary in order to comply with <br />BCDC requirements in obtaining permit to construct, which involved moving the <br />site in such a manner that it conflicts with the present location of the office. <br />In addition to relocating the office, also involved would be providing installation <br />of ornamental lighting and electrical service to the relocated office, and relocation <br />of sewer and water services, and of storm warning flagpole. He indicated concern <br />had been expressed by the Marina Committee in that they ha.d not had an opportunity <br />to review the plans. <br />Council felt that the matter should be held over to afford the Marina Committee <br />an opportunity to meet and study the plans. Responding to question by Council, <br />City Manager indicated that a one-week delay would not have any serious effect. <br />Councilman Keckley moved to defer action on the matter for one week, (May 11, 1970) <br />and Councilman Weymouth seconded on the assumption Marina Committee will have a <br />recommendation at that time. Motion carried. (MINUTE ORDER #70-77) <br />ACCEPTANCE OF IMPROVEMENTS, Alameda de las Pulgas, Fernside to Woodside. The project <br />was completed to the satisfaction of Department of Public Works and was recommended <br />for acceptance, subject to the usual guarantees. <br />Councilman Keckley moved to accept the improvements, subject to the usual one-year <br />guarantee of workmanship and materials, seconded by Councilman Weymouth and <br />carried. (MINUTE ORDER #70-78) <br />ACCOUNTS PAYABLE Nos. 78017 to 78115, inclusi.ve, totaling $61,690.59 approved for <br />payment on motion of Councilman Keckley, seconded by Councilman Henderson and <br />carried. <br />COMMUNICATIONS: <br />League of California Cities, Peninsula Division, notice <br />of meeting on Thursday, May 14, 1970, Four Seas Chinese <br />Restaurant, San Francisco, and reservation form. (Copies <br />submitted to Council.) <br />
