21 t'� <br />Councilman Weymouth moved to adopt RESOLUTION N0, 6299 AWARDING CONTRACT FOR <br />TRAFFIC SIGNAL MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR, seconded by Councilman Petersen. In <br />discussion, it was established that previously, the City had performed this <br />work and it was noted that in his report, the City Manager had indicated the <br />increased workload for the present staff of two electricians, due to added <br />pumping facilities and other electrical equipment. It was not contemplated to <br />reduce the number of electrical service employees. Motion carried on roll call <br />vote, Councilman Arnett being noted absent. <br />Councilman Petersen moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 6300 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICA- <br />TIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF ACCESS ROADS FOR WATER RESERVOIRS AND FOR THE <br />RESURFACING OF DESIGNATED STREETS: AND AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS <br />THEREFOR, seconded by Councilman Keckley, <br />Staff report stated project consists of two parts; construction of asphaltic <br />concrete paving and minor drainage work for Brewster Reservoir, Easter Cross <br />Tank and Wilmington Tank; and resurfacing of major and collector streets <br />1969-70 (Phase II). Motion carried on roll call vote, Councilman Arnett <br />being noted absent. <br />Councilman Keckley moved to adopt RESOLUTION N0. 6301 APPROPRIATING $1,935 FROM <br />UNBUDGETED UNAPPROPRIATED BALANCE OF SEWER FUND TO PROVIDE FOR CITY'S CONTRIBUTION FOR <br />CONSTRUCTION OF SEWER FACILITIES, OAK KNOLL -CANYON ROAD SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT, <br />seconded by Councilman Petersen. <br />The appropriation is to provide for contribution by the City for costs of construc- <br />tion of sewer facilities within Oak Knoll -Canyon Road Sewer Improvement District <br />of a greater capacity than required for that district, the City's contribution <br />is to provide for the oversize line, <br />Mr. Carl Kulitich, 70 Foss Drive, indicated he <br />was a resident in the area involved, and was <br />concerned about sewage problem, stating the <br />property behind his is not connected to sanitary <br />system, but is served by a septic tank. He was <br />concerned that seepage would eventually affect his <br />recently installed swimming pool. He spoke in <br />support of the motion. <br />City Manager advised he would have the problem checked out. (Memo 5-27-70) <br />Motion carried on roll call vote, Councilman Arnett being noted absent. <br />Recommendation of Traffic Committee - Whipple Avenue -E1 Camino Real Traffic Plan, <br />Mayor Bury requested report of any communications relative to the matter, and <br />City Clerk responded as follows: <br />
