230 <br />Regular Adjourned Meeting reconvened at 9:00 p.m. Discussion resumed as <br />to appropriate methods of approach. Areas where possible expenditure <br />cuts might be made were considered, including the Civic Center Complex <br />and personnel. There were further di-scussions concerning the utility <br />tax, with proposals for relief or exemption for economically under- <br />privileged, as well as discussion of feasibility of imposing a <br />ceiling. It was noted that an indication of approximate usage by <br />some of the larger firms could be obtained from the utility companies. <br />The personnel situation was reviewed, and Council requested that Staff <br />submit a report for comparison purposes showing financial effect <br />of reduction in positions, and reorganization. <br />Councilman Petersen moved to adjourn to Adjourned Regular Meeting on <br />June 4, 1970, at 7:00 p.m., at Community Activities Building, <br />seconded by Councilman Henderson and carried.
