(Copies submitted to Council) <br />State Senator Alquist, Chairman of Joint Committee on Seismic <br />Safety, advising of appointment of Councilman Henderson to one <br />of the Advisory Groups to the Committee. (Copies submitted <br />to Council) <br />Regional Water (duality Control Board, enclosing staff report, <br />and advising of their motion to continue consideration of <br />City's case to July 23, 1970. (Copies submitted to Council) <br />Copy of letter from Southern Pacific Transportation Company, <br />1 Market St., San Francisco, addressed to Public Utilities <br />Commission, concerning intention to reduce agency ticket <br />selling days, and reduce ticket selling hours. (Copies <br />submitted to Council) <br />Councilman Petersen moved to refer the matter to the Franchise Committee <br />for recommendation, seconded by Councilman Henderson and carried, <br />(MINUTE ORDER #70-129) <br />Councilman Henderson reminded Council of ABAG General Assembly on July 30, <br />1970, <br />and <br />that Councilman <br />Keckley, as Alternate Delegate <br />would <br />represent <br />the City <br />at that meeting. <br />She requested that the matter <br />be on <br />the agenda <br />of July 20th in order that Council can give him guidance. (Memo 7-9-70) <br />Councilman Rhodes nominated Mr. Constant F. Davis for the Architectural <br />Committee. (Biographical material to be submitted,) <br />The matter of further action with respect to reducing the Veterans Memorial <br />Commission to three members was noted by Councilman Arnett, and Mayor Bury <br />stated the item is to be on Council agenda, of July 135 1970.
