13 8 <br />COMMUNICATIONS: <br />Notice of Hearing of State Water Resources Sontrol Board, at 9:30 A.M. <br />on Saturday, March 14, 1970, in the State Office Building, Oakland, <br />which includes in agenda the matter of a cease and desist order against <br />Redwood City, San Carlos and Belmont. <br />Councilman Henderson brought up the matter of prohibition of parking on Whipple <br />Avenue, and City Manager advised a report on this would be included with a report <br />Staff had been directed to submit and which Traffic Committee is preparing. He <br />noted also that parking in the area in question was restricted and not prohibited. <br />A report on the intersection will also be included in the report. (Memo 3/10/70) <br />Councilman Rosselli referred to earlier discussions on relocating "Climate Best <br />by Government Test" at approaches to Redwood City, suggesting that placement near <br />Bayshore might be appropriate. Mayor Bury requested a report from City Manager <br />on this matter. (Memo 3/10/70) <br />Councilman Rosselli <br />commented on <br />Park <br />and Recreation Commission <br />intention to <br />under- <br />take another study <br />of Community <br />Park, <br />City ManWr advised the <br />current study <br />is a <br />plan for facilities set out in the Winans' report and is being done by Ribera and <br />Sue. <br />Councilman Weymouth moved to adjourn to Executive Session at 10:05 p.m, as requested by <br />Mayor, for discussion of possible litigation matters, seconded by Councilman <br />Keckley and carried. <br />Regular meeting reconvened, and motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Weymouth, <br />seconded by Councilman Arnett and carried. Henderson <br />Paul C. Keckley, Herbert G. Petersen, John S. Rosselli, Ray A. Weymouth, Mayor Robert H. <br />Bury, and City Clerk Marian McCrindle. Also noted present were City Manager Howard C. <br />Ullrich, City Attorney David E. Schricker, Assistant City Manager Henry V. Burget, Police <br />Chief John R. McDonald, Jr., Planning Director Ken Schroeter, Director of Public Works <br />J. Louis Scherer, Park Superintendent Pasco Balzarini, Chief Building Official Charles <br />Gyselbrecht, and Secretary Frances Ozzanto, <br />Councilman Weymouth moved to approve Minutes of the Regular Meeting of March 2, 1970, subject <br />to correction of motion to adjourn to Executive Session to read "as requested by Mayor <br />Bury", rather than "as requested by City Attorney", and Minutes of Executive Session of <br />March 2, 1970, subject to identical correction in the first paragraph, seconded by <br />Councilman Keckley and carried, <br />
