Davey , of Town of Los Altos Hills , urging Council ' s support of a resolution endor - sing a four county agreement to save Skyline Boulevard such as that enclosed and adopted by a group of women in that area ( copy submitted to Council ) . Communication from Mayor of Town of Emeryville urging Councilts supporting a resolution urging legislation protecting home rule ( copy submitted to Council ) . Mayor Bury asked that this communication be referred to the Council ' s ABAG representa - tives . City Manager advised this subject had been investigated and Staff still attempting to get further information to bring to Council because of its potential in new Civic Center planning . He stated question at this time would be whether enough cities were willing to go into it to make it feasible , as costs were considerable , but that a report would be made to Council on this subject as soon as possible .
