344 <br /> town , and asked that Council appoint another person to this Board . Mayor Bury felt <br /> Nominating Committee should be reactivated for this purpose . Councilman Weymouth <br /> moved to reactivate the Nominating Committee for appointing a replacement to the <br /> Advisory Board , and also suggested that several alternates be also named at this <br /> time in case of other future resignations , seconded by Councilman Keckley . Council - <br /> man Petersen felt each case should be reviewed individually should another resigna - <br /> tion take place , since replacements should be named from similar categories to the <br /> first incumbent . M . <br /> Community Activities Building <br /> Meeting called to order by Mayor Bury at 7 : 58 P . M . <br /> ON ROLL CALL the following were noted present : Councilmen Dixon Arnett , Mary W . <br /> Henderson , Paul C . Keckley , Ray A , Weymouth , Mayor Robert H . Bury , and City Clerk <br /> Helen C . Moore , Councilman Herbert G . Petersen entered the meeting at 8 : 16 P . M . <br /> Councilman John S . Rosselli entered the meeting at 7 : 50 F . M . Also noted present <br /> were City Manager Howard C . Ullrich , City Attorney David E . Schricker , Assistant <br /> City Manager Henry V . Burget , and Auditor -Accountant Jack Ference , <br /> Council discussed the proposed amendment to the Ordinance allocating Sales Tax <br /> Revenues . City Attorney had prepared a draft amendment which was distributed to <br /> the Council for consideration , The City Attorney explained the requirement of <br /> specificity in allocating sums of money to various funds . <br /> After a thorough discussion , the following percentage figures were agreed upon and <br /> became a part of the Ordinance as introduced : ( A ) For Community Promotion 3 . 67% ; <br /> ( b ) For Capital Outlay 66 . 33% ; ( c ) For Capital Expenditures 10% , On motion by <br /> Councilman Arnett , seconded by Councilman Rosselli , the Ordinance was introduced . <br /> Councilman Henderson moved to amend the proposed Ordinance by changing the percent - <br /> age in Section ( b ) ( Capital Outlay ) to 50% , seconded by Councilman Keckley , The <br /> Council considered the ramifications of such a change and agreed that any further <br /> allocation of Sales Tax for property tax reduction should be considered after a <br /> review of the Budget is completed . The motion thereupon was withdrawn with consent <br /> of the Second . The motion to introduce the Ordinance was carried . <br /> Budget Study commenced with consideration of the Police Department , the Budgeted <br /> tar 21 '69 <br />
