Councilman Weymouth moved to reactivate the Nominating Committee for appointing a replacement to the Advisory Board , and also suggested that several alternates be also named at this time in case of other future resignations , seconded by Councilman Keckley . Council - man Petersen felt each case should be reviewed individually should another resigna - tion take place , since replacements should be named from similar categories to the first incumbent . MOORE , City Clerk Minutes of Adjourned Regular Meeting Redwood City Council May 21 , 1969 7 : 30 P . M . Community Activities Building Meeting called to order by Mayor Bury at 7 : 58 P . M . ON ROLL CALL the following were noted present : Councilmen Dixon Arnett , Mary W . Henderson , Paul C . Keckley , Ray A , Weymouth , Mayor Robert H . Bury , and City Clerk Helen C . Moore , Councilman Herbert G . Petersen entered the meeting at 8 : 16 P . M . Councilman John S . Rosselli entered the meeting at 7 : 50 F . M . Also noted present were City Manager Howard C . Ullrich , City Attorney David E . Schricker , Assistant City Manager Henry V . Burget , and Auditor -Accountant Jack Ference , Council discussed the proposed amendment to the Ordinance allocating Sales Tax Revenues . City Attorney had prepared a draft amendment which was distributed to the Council for consideration , The City Attorney explained the requirement of specificity in allocating sums of money to various funds . After a thorough discussion , the following percentage figures were agreed upon and became a part of the Ordinance as introduced : ( A ) For Community Promotion 3 . 67% ; ( b ) For Capital Outlay 66 . 33% ; ( c ) For Capital Expenditures 10% , On motion by Councilman Arnett , seconded by Councilman Rosselli , the Ordinance was introduced . Councilman Henderson moved to amend the proposed Ordinance by changing the percent - age in Section ( b ) ( Capital Outlay ) to 50% , seconded by Councilman Keckley , The Council considered the ramifications of such a change and agreed that any further allocation of Sales Tax for property tax reduction should be considered after a review of the Budget is completed . The motion thereupon was withdrawn with consent of the Second . The motion to introduce the Ordinance was carried .
