361 <br /> rezoning action should be finalized since non-access to this property would preclude <br /> usage until improvements made . <br /> City Attorney advised action must be concluded on this application one way or another , <br /> but Council could initiate rezoning procedures on other adjacent areas as a separate <br /> action . He also advised concerns of Council regarding development could be made by a <br /> statement of policy advising of their full intention to hold to the non-access strip <br /> to preclude usage before improvements made . Councilman Weymouth moved to close the <br /> public hearing , seconded by Councilman Keckley and carried . <br /> Councilman Weymouth moved to introduce Ordinance adding Section 60 . 22 . 1 to Ordinance No . <br /> 1130 , the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance , rezoning property in the vicinity of Uccelli <br /> Boulevard and Bair Island Road , seconded by Councilman Keckley and carried . <br /> Councilman Arnett moved to direct Staff to prepare documents necessary for formation <br /> of an assessment district for improvements of Bair Island Road , seconded by Council - <br /> man Weymouth , Councilman Henderson felt this action premature because of the other <br /> rezoning procedures commenced in this area , and suggested Staff be directed to first <br /> investigate possibilities for formation of such an assessment district and report <br /> back to Council . <br /> City Attorney acknowledged it would be better for Staff to be allowed opportunity of <br /> contacting property owners , and determine other necessary factors to form an assess - <br /> ment district . Councilman Arnett stated his motion had meant to indicate a request <br /> to Staff for a preliminary report back to Council concerning formation of this District . <br /> Motion carried ( MINUTE ORDER #69- 112 ) . <br /> Councilman Keckley left the meeting at 11 : 00 p . m . for five minutes . <br /> Councilman Arnett moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO , 6000 APPROVING AND ACCEPTING FINAL MAP <br /> OF MARLIN SUBDIVISION NO , 2 WITHIN GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO , 1 -64 , REDWOOD CITY , <br /> CALIFORNIA , SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS , seconded by Councilman Weymouth . It was <br /> noted Planning Commission had recommended this Final Map for Council approval at their <br /> meeting of May 27th . <br /> Proposed subdivision contains approximately 46 acres of land to contain 147 lots with <br /> 143 single -family dwellings proposed , a neighborhood park area , two park dike areas , <br /> and a portion of the tidal way of Steinberger Slough . <br /> Mr . Lawrence Brian , consulting engineer for this subdivision , <br /> depicted from a map the two areas of park dedication to City <br /> and recreation reserves along the slough and levee for a path- <br /> way easement . <br /> Motion carried on roll call vote , Councilmen Keckley , Petersen , and Rosselli being <br /> noted absent . <br /> - Councilman Arnett moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO , 6001 GRANTING EXCEPTIONS TO CERTAIN PRO- <br /> VISIONS OF CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, BEING THE SUBDIVISION <br /> REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY - STANLEY C . SWARTZ COMPANY , seconded by Council- <br /> man Keckley . <br /> Planning Commission report stated application of Stanley C . Swartz Co , for a Tentative <br /> Map approval had been considered at their meeting of May 27th , containing 88 lots in <br /> conjunction with a proposed Planned Development containing 84 single -family attached <br /> dwellings , had been unanimously approved subject to certain specific conditions per - <br /> taining to lot widths , lot areas , cul -de - sac lengths , location and design of above <br /> ground public fixtures within public rights - of -way and other public easements be subject <br /> juti 9 '69 <br />
