Motion carried on roll call vote , Councilman <br /> Rosselli being noted absent . <br /> Councilman Petersen moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO . 6014 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br /> FOR CONSTRUCTION OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR REDWOOD CITY GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT <br /> NO . 1 - 64 , RELATING TO MARLIN SUBDIVISION NO , 1. ; AND AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL <br /> FOR BIDS THEREFOR , seconded by Councilman Weymouth . <br /> Staff reported plans and specifications had beenprepared by DMJM and checked and <br /> approved by City Staff . <br /> Mr . Motion carried on roll call <br /> vote , Councilman Rosselli being noted absent . <br /> Councilman Keckley moved to introduce Ordinance repealing Division 2 of Article II of <br /> Chapter 6 of the Code of the City of Redwood City; amending Sections 6 . 23 and 6 . 25 <br /> and adding Division 2 of Article II of Chapter 6 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br /> City relating to fire and closing -out sales , seconded by Councilman Weymouth . <br /> It was noted copy of proposed ordinance had been submitted for Council ' s review , <br /> along with an analysis made by City Attorney on the changes proposed . Thereafter , <br /> Council thoroughly questioned proposed changes and suggested additional changes <br /> relating to increasing filing fee forprocessing such an application for a Close -Out <br /> Sale from the present $ 25 . 00 to perhaps $ 50 . 00 ; how advertisement submitted and <br /> checked and thereafter regulated to avoid Sign Ordinance violations ; appeal period <br /> to Council allowed if denied by City Manager and scheduling forCouncil agenda ; <br /> time allowed for City Manager ' s review on original application before taking action <br /> etc . <br /> After discussion of all points raised , Councilman Weymouth moved to amend Section <br /> 6 . 41 of proposed amendment to restrict Close - Out Sales to a maximum of thirty ( 30 ) <br /> days in any twelve month period, seconded by Councilman Henderson and carried , <br /> 016969 <br />
