414.N. Belmont , requesting approval from City of Redwood City , Councilman Rosselli announced Franchise Committee meeting to be held in City Manager ' s office Wednesday , July 30 , at 7 : 30 a .m . Councilman Rosselli commented on kiosks installed on certain parking lots , noting they do have electricity brought by overhead lines from some distance away , and no sanitary facilities . Mayor Bury asked that City Manager request the Planning Director to investigate and report on the matter . Keckley , John S . Rosselli , Ray A . Weymouth , Mayor Robert H . Bury , and City Clerk Helen C . Moore . Councilman Petersen noted absent ( entered the meeting at 7 : 35P . M , ) Also noted present were Assistant City Manager Henry V . Burget , Assistant City Attorney James H . Thomas , Police Chief John R . McDonald , Fire Chief Joseph L . Lodi , Director of Public Works J . Louis Scherer , Planning Director Ken Schroeter , and Deputy City Clerk Marian McCrindle . Councilman Keckley moved to approve Minutes of Regular Meeting of July 28 , 1969 , seconded by Councilman Arnett and carried . Progress Report - Redwood Shores . Mr . Willis Caryl , Project Engineer of DMJM, briefed the Council on progress in Redwood Shores project during this past month by highlighting the following points : Engineering design and improvement plans for Twin Dolphin Parkway and Marlin Sub- division #3 now in process of checking by City Staff ; Swartz & Co . and Leslie Proper- ties in process of planning Marlin Subdivision #4 , consisting of 184 townhouses , Steinberger Tentative Map to be presented to Council shortly as had been held up due to traffic considerations ; Bridge Parkway Bridge now out for bid , together with Marlin subdivision #2 improvements , utility crossing across Belmont Drain out to bid by Leslie Properties ; approval being requested of Council at this meeting for excavation along Belmont Drain . He noted Leslie Properties now in process of negotiation on the Shoretown develop - ment ; some 138 homes under construction , with 22 being sold on Subdivision #1 ; improvements under way in Dolphin Subdivision #1 , Peninsula Parkway fencing to be started soon ; Neighborhood Park in center of Unit #1 nearing completion and dredging operation under way in diamond portion of interior waterway nearing completion , and reclamation work proceeding northerly of Shell Parkway ; additional townhouses and residences being started within Dolphin Subdivisions No , 1 and No . 2 . tak IS
