Staff report noted the charges for work done under the weed abatement program have been submitted by the Department of Public Works , showing the cost to each individual parcel , a total cost of 518 , 408 . 25 . Council requested to consider and confirm the assessments , after which the list will be forwarded to the County to be included on the tax bills . City Clerk advised no written protests or communications had been received relating to the weed abatement assessments . Mayor Bury noted receipt of a communication addressed to him from Leonie E .
