Staff reported this project consisted of widen - <br /> ing Veterans Boulevard and constructing curbs , pavement , gutters , sidewalks , storm <br /> drains , and miscellaneous appurtenant items , all at the Permittee ' s expense ( Chrysler <br /> Realty Corporation ) . <br /> In reply to question whether rest of this block could be improved , City Manager advised <br /> it might be possible under specific provisions of City ordinance to force remainder of <br /> block improvements and he would investigate the possibilities ( Memo 9/23/69 ) .
