City Manager advised Staff
was aware of recent magazine articles on parking meters , but at this point would
contend that with a single City repairman comprising the full servicing of our
parking meters , it was best tolave one type of mechanism and one inventory of
parts even though more cost might be involved in purchase , Motion carried ,
Councilman Henderson voting no ( MINUTE ORDER #69 -185 ) .
Appointment of Tree Trimmer at Third Step of Salary Range approved on motion of
Councilman Petersen , seconded by Councilman Keckley .
Staff reported Personnel Board and Staff recommend appointment at this Third
Step because of the difficulty experienced in recruiting for a qualified trained
applicant and of the opportunity now available for such an appointment being made
to a well -qualified person with several years of tree trimming experience if
appointment can be made at the Third Step . Motion carried ( MINUTE ORDER #69 -186 ) .
ap Gg
