( Copy submitted <br /> to Council ) <br /> Leslie Properties , Inc . , requesting consideration <br /> of a Joint Council and Planning Commission meeting for <br /> reconsideration of Tentative Map of Steinberger Subdivision and <br /> exceptions ( Copy submitted to Council and action taken <br /> previously re joint meeting ) <br /> Mr . D . H . Lambert , 216 Hudson Street , discussing traffic <br /> problems and parking regulations on Hudson Street , <br /> ( Copy submitted to Council ) <br /> Councilman Henderson indicated suggestions made in this communication were <br /> well worthy of a Staff examination . Councilman Keckley stated subject of on - <br /> street parking now under review by Ordinance Review Committee for this area, as <br /> well as others , and a recommendation would be made to Council after further review <br /> of parking restriction in this particular area of Hudson Street , <br /> Mr . Lambert appeared to state that he had polled <br /> his neighborhood and could speak in their behalf <br /> also on traffic problems he had presented in his <br /> communication , and requested that a solution be given <br /> for their relief . <br /> Chamber of. Commerce advising action taken by the Board <br /> of Directors wholeheartedly endorsing Councilts proposal <br /> to close Broadway to through traffic from Douglas Avenue <br /> to Second Avenue for benefit of Ampex expansion plans , inasmuch <br /> as no serious traffic is problems will be created . <br /> ( Copy submitted to Council ) <br /> Councilman Arnett noted communication from City Clerk-Treasurer-Collector <br /> requesting a terminal audit upon her retirement October 31 , 1969 , and whether <br /> action should be taken by Council to authorize the expenditure and appropriate <br /> funds therefor . <br /> City Manager advised if it is Councilts desire that this customary audit be made , <br /> he would contact Uhlenberg and Company and get a proposal from them on the cost <br /> and report back to Council , or audit couldte requested now and funds appropriated <br /> later , if necessary . <br /> Councilman Arnett moved to direct Staff to proceed with audit requested with funds <br /> available in budget , seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried . ( MINUTE ORDER #69-193 ) <br /> City Manager requested Council response to meeting notice for October 23rd with the <br /> Water Quality Control Board and other cities . <br /> Councilman Henderson requested permission to be absent from the State commencing <br /> October 10th - 26th . Councilman Weymouth moved to approve request of Councilman <br /> Henderson , seconded by Councilman Arnett and Carried .
