Flatland Company 9180 . 00 <br /> Engineer ' s Estimate $7740 . 00 <br /> It was noted a bid received from Rosendin Electric had been received too late and <br /> was returned unopened . Staff recommended low hid of Coast Electric Company be <br /> accepted , but stated that additional funds would he required , if Council desired. <br /> to award bid , since only 56000 had been appropriated for this work . It was <br /> noted bid figures did not include design engineering or construction administration <br /> City Manager reported that project as envisioned was an effort to incorporate <br /> request of downtown merchants for electrical system for lighting Christmas <br /> decorations on Broadway and if project to he completed f'or this year ' s Christmas -- <br /> decorations , award would have to be made on these bids and additional funds <br /> appropriated . He recommended award be made and additional funds be transferred <br /> since to delay would further increase costs in view of /present trends . <br /> 69 <br />
