Royer , 1047 Whipple Avenue , asked when <br /> next hearing would be held on this District . <br /> Attorney for the District outlined the time elements involved . <br /> There being no communications , or oral protest , Councilman Rosselli moved to close <br /> the public hearing , seconded by Councilman Arnett and carried . <br /> Councilman Arnett moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO , 6134 ORDERING IMPROVEMENTS AND <br /> OVERRULING PROTESTS , OAK KNOLL-CANYON LANE & VICINITY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT , <br /> seconded by Councilman Rosselli and carried on roll call vote , Councilman Henderson <br /> being noted absent . <br /> Councilman Weymouth moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO . 6135 AWARDING CONTRACT, OAK <br /> KNOLL-CANYON LANE & VICINITY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT , seconded by Councilman <br /> Keckley and carried on roll call vote , Councilman Henderson being noted absent . <br /> Report and recommendation on Chamber of Commerce request to conduct a Christmas Festival <br /> on public property (November 26- through November 30 h <br /> City Manager reviewed report and recommendation which had been submitted by Staff <br /> at request of Council after review for costs which would be involved for extra <br /> policing and for review of any traffic problems which might be caused by request <br /> to block off streets for proposed ClIristmas Festival . <br /> It was noted Police Chief had estimated costs for extra policing required to be <br /> $ 4000 , even though cost could be more , but that no problems were envisioned with the <br /> closing of L-he streets as proposed . He noted appropriation of funds would be <br /> necessary if Council elected to proceed with this proposal . <br /> DC, 2069 <br />
