Councilman Petersen , Chairman of Committee , reported on proposal for benches at all bus stops and suggestion made to approach Inter-Service Council to determine those organizations which might be interested in such a community-wide project . He advised system could use an additional 30 benches and that Staff had been requested to obtain an estimate of costs in order that interested service organizations could be presented with such facts . He advised recommendation also now being made by the Committee for an.
