In reply to questioning by Councilman Henderson concerning Cash Balance report <br /> dated September 30 , 1969 , regarding General Reserve of General Fund indicating <br /> S250 , 000 , when Council had approved S200 , 000 , City Manager stated a report would <br /> be requested from the City Auditor to clarify accounting . ( Memo 10/28/69 ) <br /> City Clerk also reported the item identified as " Active Account " included the sum <br /> invested in Treasury Bills , whereas this item is usually listed separately . <br /> Councilman Weymouth moved to adjourn by adoption of RESOLUTION NO . 6148 COMMENDING <br /> AND CONGRATULATING HELEN C . MOORE ON THE OCCASION OF HER RETIREMENT FR II THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, seconded by Councilman Rosselli . After reading/he Resolution <br /> by Mayor Bury and presentation of a framed and signed copy , motion carried on roll <br /> call vote , Councilman Petersen being noted absent . <br /> Meeting adjourned at 11 : 35 P . M . <br /> Pledge of Allegiance led by Councilman Arnett . <br /> Invocation led by Reverend Dwight Hoelscher , First Congregational Church . <br /> ON ROLL CALL the following were noted present : Councilmen Dixon Arnett , Mary W . <br /> Henderson , Paul C . Keckley , Herbert G . Petersen , John S . Rosselli , Ray A . <br /> Weymouth , Mayor Robert H . Bury , and Deputy City Clerk Marian McCrindle . Also <br /> noted present were City Manager Howard C . Ullrich , City Attorney David E . <br /> Schricker , Assistant City Manager Henry V . Burget , Police Chief John R . <br /> McDonald , Planning Director Ken Schroeter , Director of Public Works J . Louis <br /> Scherer , Auditor -Accountant Jack Ference , and Secretary Frances Ozzanto . <br /> Councilman Keckley moved to approve Minutes of Regular Meeting of October 27 , <br /> 1969 , subject to corrections indicated ( misspelling of word " effluent " ; <br /> reference to Planning Director corrected to Director of Public Works , and " <br /> questionnaire was sent only to owners along the Stulsaft Branch " the <br /> words " and Kinsington Branch " to be added ) , seconded by Councilman Arnett <br /> and carried . <br /> Monthly progress Report - Redwood Shores . <br /> City Manager advised this would be the regular monthly report , but that in <br /> addition to statements by Project Manager of DMJM and Leslie Staff , a repre - <br /> sentative of Redwood Shores Homeowners ' Association was present and it was <br /> hoped this group would continue to participate in subsequent monthly reports . <br /> He referred to recent communication from Congressman McCloskey , following a <br /> meeting at Leslie Pavilion and advised that Staff is preparing a response to <br /> that letter , as directed . He added that there was nothing in the Congressman ' s <br /> letter that had not already been anticipated and spoken to , eithez6efore the <br /> Council or in public information clinics ; that the only eventuality not anti - <br /> cipated was intervention of a Federal agency . The questions now were identical <br /> to those existing at time of formation of the District , and had been discussed <br /> repeatedly , and there is no reason for Staff to arrive at an opinion or make <br /> recommendations other than those offered in the past . <br />
