While the flow of traffic is improved , as <br /> well as entrance to the Post Office , exiting at peak traffic periods appears to be <br /> unchanged . City Manager indicated the planned Ampex expansion should substantially <br /> reduce volume of traffic in this portion of Broadway . Concern was expressed re - <br /> garding the hazardous situation for Bayshore traffic exiting at the southbound off - <br /> ramp of Woodside Expressway , particularly for those drivers attempting to cross <br /> over to the left -turn storage lane at Broadway . However , since the State has <br /> jurisdiction , this matter is one that will have to be discussed with the Division <br /> of Highways . City Manager briefly commented on the recent origin -destination study <br /> conducted near Ampex and the subsequent report submitted by the Police Chief , who <br /> is expected to prepare a follow-up in lay language .
