261 <br /> In reply to a question regarding priority listing for improvements , with surplus <br /> funds , City Manager advised Staff intended to commence this study and made a <br /> recommendation to Council . <br /> Councilman Henderson questioned whether any plans being made for keeping the <br /> creek channels clean and odorless when time comes that water is not running and <br /> becomes stagnant . City Manager advised of the efforts now being made to devise <br /> some type of tractor equipment with plates attached to fit the shape of the <br /> channels in order they might be cleaned ,, and also intent to take stringent methods <br /> for better enforcement against ordinance violaters who throw debris in creeks . <br /> Councilman Keckley advised Ordinance Committee had also reviewed problem of de - <br /> liberate violations of the ordinance as to debris in creeks and could only re - <br /> commend stringent enforcement _' of ordinance in trying to prevent such violations . <br /> Mayor Bury congratulated Mr . Adamson and his Staff for the quality of the pro - <br /> jects designed by them . <br /> City Manager introduced Mr . Alan Ribera and Mr . John Sue , landscape architects , re - <br /> cently approved as Consultants for professional architectual and park planning <br /> for the entire City . <br /> Progress Report - Carl Martineau , Consulting Electrical Engineer for City ' s negoti- <br /> ations for Woodside Road Undergrounding , <br /> City Manager asked Mr . Martineau to report directly to Council on his progress <br /> in putting together and setting up the first underground utility district on <br /> Woodside Road . He stated he thougit all were well aware of the outstanding <br /> assistance Mr . Martineau had given as City ' s consultant in negotiating with the <br /> various agencies involved which will now make possible the undergrounding of <br /> all utilities on Woodside Road . Mr . Martineau advised of the 11 agencies , in- <br /> cluding 6 electrical agencies , and including theCity water, sewer , etc . , now <br /> all trying to coordinate their plans in order to install utilities underground <br /> in the narrow 6 ' right-of -way to be used . He advised that the biggest problem <br /> at present concerned the abutting property owners fronting on Woodside , some <br /> of whom will have to do some construction work on their property in connection <br /> with the undergrounding . His objective now was to define this work as simply <br /> as possible with least amount of cost and confusion . He advised of the most <br /> successful cooperation being given by both PG&E and PT&T to achieve this object- <br /> ive . <br /> MayorBury greeted a large group of students from Woodside High School . <br /> PUBLIC HEARING , Resolution of Intention to annex HAMILTON WAY ANNEXATION, declared <br /> open and affidavits of publication and mailing ordered filed , <br /> It was noted Council adopted this Resolution on January 6 , 1969 , setting this <br /> public hearing , and that an informational meeting had been held with interested <br /> property owners prior to this hearing to discuss benefits of annexation , etc , <br /> It was further noted Council had granted four sewer connections to parcels with- <br /> in this area , conditioned on annexation . <br /> FEE 7 7 '69 <br />
