2 71 <br /> Mayor Bury asked that both communications be referred to the Council ' s Legislative <br /> Committee . ( Memo 2/25/69 ) <br /> Copy of communication addressed to the San Mateo County <br /> Board of Supervisors from the Highlands Community Club <br /> protesting any additional rezoning to C-1 on Woodside <br /> Road , specifically between Sequoia Avenue and the Alameda <br /> de las Pulgas ( copy submitted to Council ) . <br /> Mayor Bury asked that this communication be forwarded to the Planning Commission . <br /> Councilman Keckley announced next meeting of the Council ' s Ordinance Committee would be <br /> Tuesday morning , February 25 , at 7 : 30 A.M . , in the City Manager ' s office . <br /> Mayor Bury announced the one -day special conference to be held in Redwood City , sponsored <br /> by County groups , Fun After Fifty , Park and Recreation groups , etc . , on March 21st , <br /> Veterans Memorial Building, on needs of senior citizens . He estimated some 500 <br /> people would attend this conference and invited Council and all interested to attend . <br /> Acting Deputy Plice Chief Mansfield was commended for the manner in which the Police <br /> guard had participated in the funeral services held for Mrs . Carl Britschgi today . <br /> Mayor Bury asked that Acting Deputy Police Chief Mansfield extend Council ' s appre - <br /> ciation for services rendered by Police personnel from Atherton and Menlo Park , <br /> also , during this period . ( Memo 2/25/69 ) <br /> Councilman Rosselli moved to adjourn by adoption of RESOLUTION NO , 5918 COMMEMORATING <br /> THE MEMORY OF VIOLET BRITSCHGI , seconded by Councilman Arnett and carried on roll <br /> call vote . <br /> Meeting adjourned at 9 : 05P . James D . Reiter , Project Manager of DMJM, to report <br /> on Redwood Shores . <br /> Mr . Reiter advised there had been only two working days <br /> in February out of a possible 20 because of the rain which <br /> had totalled 9 " this past month .
