In reply to questioning on lack of other facilities that had been previously discussed , such as washing trays , deck boxes to serve as seats , etc . , Director of Public Works pointed out the fine design of the pier had been prepared free of charge by Lawrence Brian and that the other amenitities which had been previously discussed will be looked into for future additions . Mayor Bury stated he also had checked on the other facilities which had been mentioned but that they were not included in the specifications or contract , and it was hoped these would be provided for later . Mayor Bury also stated a letter of appreciation would be sent to Mr . Brian and also to Kiwanis and Lions Clubs . He also noted dedication ceremony planned on April 1st for this facility and urged all to plan on attending . Notion carried ( MINUTE ORDER x;69 -51 ) Rental of City -owned property at 911 Valota Road on a month -to -month basis approved on motion of Councilman Rosselli , seconded by Councilman Keckley . Staff reported this property was recently acquired by the City and not intended to be used for public purposes until the Community Park Master Plan is completed .
