Employee Tracking:
HiperWeb will provide the ability to track employee related information such as name, position,
email, phone number, address, department, default funding group, pay rate, regular schedule,
skills, certifications, performance reviews, or other criteria defined by the city. The City will
have the ability to set reminders regarding employee expiration dates, such a certification
renewals that will be needed in the coming future.
Time code tracking will occur as employees attach time to a work order. Rules will be available
to automate the transition from one time code to another. For example if an employee is
scheduled for an 8 hour shift, and that employee posts 9 consecutive hours, the work order will
reflect 8 hours of normal pay and 1 hour of overtime pay. This information will be made
available to employees at the end of each pay period for reference when filling out their time
card.
Menu Tree:
HiperWeb w i l l provide a User-Defined menu built on that specific user's process. This
means user will only see the features and processes that pertain to them. This feature will
allow the separation of processes from management to supervisors down to the crews
performing the work. Default screens will be configured by HiperWeb and cloning of screens for
new or existing users will be a provided option.
Dashboards:
HiperWeb will provide a dashboard control panel to be placed in front of the user at login. This
dashboard will house a combination of work order, asset management detailed, and summary
information in tabular or graphical format. Specific information will be configurable by the user
group or individual user's preference.
Fixed and Linear Assets:
HiperWeb wi I1 track all utilities/public assets using multiple components including company,
GL account, property unit, plant account, process, location, unit, asset year, cost center, division,
district, serial number, mfg. name, model number, or other categories defined by the City.
HiperWeb w i l l track significant details about asset transactions including install year, project
number, work order number, and charge type. The system will automatically generate templet
GL journal entries for Finance or perform GL journal entries when transactions result in GL
account changes if desired by the city. HiperWeb will maintain the charge detail data for each
division using parent / child relationships between assets.
HiperWeb will support the latest versions of both; Google Maps and ESRI ArcGIS Map Server.
The system will be designed to work with GIS Data seamlessly enabling the user to turn on/off
layers as needed. Only layers within the user profile will be available for viewing and editing
with no pre-set limits to the number of assets or the size or complexity of the asset data.
REV: 03-31-16 FF
ATTY/AGR.2016.066/PSD HiperWeb
