Role of After School Director/Community School Coordinator: <br /> • Lead Second Harvest Food Distribution <br /> • Communicates with Principal about families in need of support services as related to <br /> food, housing, clothing, etc. <br /> • Participates in events such as uniform distribution and holiday drives <br /> Role of the Principal: <br /> • Assist After School Director with the organization of food distribution <br /> • Assist After School Director with resources and communication needs related to support <br /> services for families <br /> • Organize and lead uniform distribution and holiday drives <br /> C. Extended Day Services <br /> Role of After School Director/Community School Coordinator: <br /> • Lead the recruitment, enrollment and retention of students with input from Principal <br /> • Lead and run Extended Day programming in accordance to agreements with the <br /> Redwood City School District <br /> • Keep current attendance using City Span <br /> Role of the Principal: <br /> • Provide input and support recruitment, enrollment and retention of students in Extended <br /> Day Programs <br /> • Advocate with school staff about program needs and lead efforts related to aligning with <br /> the school day. <br /> • Provide input in program design <br /> D. Prevention and Early Intervention Services <br /> Role of After School Director/Community School Coordinator: <br /> • Participate SST and Support Services meetings as requested by Principal <br /> Role of the Principal: <br /> • Lead SST and Support Services meetings <br /> • Lead program efforts related to communicating with teachers, scheduling classroom <br /> pullouts, communicating with parents related to students needs. <br /> E. Coordinated Services <br /> Role of After School Director/Community School Coordinator: <br /> • Participate in weekly meeting with Principal and other team members to assure proper <br /> communication and alignment between Academic and non-academic services <br /> • Take the lead in connecting and meeting with other services providers on campus to <br /> assure services are aligned with the goals of the programs and integrated with each <br /> other. <br /> • Serve in the School Site Council and Leadership Team to assure visibility and <br /> understanding of non-academic services <br /> Role of the Principal: <br /> • Lead meeting with After School Director other team members to assure proper <br /> communication and alignment between Academic and non-academic services <br /> • Assist and support After School Director in connecting with other program on campus to <br /> assure services are aligned with goals and integrated with each other <br /> REV: 04-29-16 FF <br /> Pag 6of9 <br /> ATTY/AGR.201 6.087/Redwood City School District - iawes <br />
