(b) Residential Driveways : The provisions of this <br /> section shall govern the location and dimensions of drive- <br /> ways in all real property situate in any residentially zoned <br /> district. Single driveways shall not exceed twelve feet <br /> (12') in width and double driveways shall not exceed <br /> twenty-three feet (23') in width between the tops of ramps <br /> at the ends of driveways . There shall be twenty-two feet <br /> (22') or a multiple thereof between such driveways . <br /> (c) No person shall construct any driveway or drive- <br /> way approach in any public right of way without first <br /> securing a permit therefor from the City Engineer. <br /> All driveways, whether on an improved or an unimproved <br /> street, shall be constructed to the established grade for <br /> that street at the property line. In the event no grade <br /> has been established for the street on which the driveway <br /> or driveway approach is to be constructed, such driveway <br /> or driveway approach shall be constructed to a grade at <br /> the property line to be approved by the City Engineer. <br /> All driveways and driveway approaches in any public <br /> right of way shall be constructed in accordance with <br /> standards established by the City Engineer and in a manner <br /> and of materials approved by the City Engineer." <br /> Section 2. Article II of Ordinance No. 639, entitled "An <br /> Ordinance Relating to and Regulating the Construction, Reconstruc- <br /> tion and Repair of Walkways, Driveways, Curbs and Parking Strips <br /> on the Public Streets, Alleys and Ways in the City of %Redwood City, " <br /> adopted March 6, 1950, as amended and presently in effect, is <br /> hereby amended by adding to said article of said ordinance a new <br /> section numbered Section 10 .1, to read as follows : <br /> -2- <br />
