222 <br /> MINUTES OF 'BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING <br /> AUGUST 10, 1936 <br /> 10 : 00 A. M. <br /> Upon roll call , the following Councilmen were present : L. C. Christensen , E. A. Fletcher , <br /> Wm. Hohn , R. N. Jones , Geo . W. McNulty and City Clerk, B . E. Myers. Absent: Mayor <br /> Paul A. McCarthy and Councilman J. M. Eva. <br /> On motion of Councilman Fletcher , seconded by Councilman Christensen , Councilman Jones <br /> was chosen to act as temporary Chairman, in the absence of Mayor McCarthy. <br /> The Clerk read a letter from H. F. Gray , Attorney-in-fact for Florence Mason Palmer <br /> protesting assessed valuation on lots in Blocks 4+6 , 4+7 , 4s and 49 of Central Park <br /> No. 2 . On motion of Councilman Christensen, seconded by Councilman Hohn, it was <br /> decided to deny the application for any change in the valuation. <br /> On motion of Councilman McNulty , seconded by Councilman Fletcher, the assessed valua- <br /> tion of Redwood City property submitted by the Assessor was approved. <br /> Adjournment . <br /> . b . <br /> �,. <br /> City Clerk 4 <br /> BEM :MR <br />
