239 <br /> MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING <br /> REDWOOD CITY COUNCIL <br /> NOVEMBER 20 , 1936 <br /> g o ' clock p. m. <br /> Upon roll call , the following Councilmen were present : Mayor , Paul A. McCarthy , L . C. <br /> Christensen , J. M. Eva, E . A. Fletcher , R. N. Jones , G. W . McNulty and Wm. Hahn. <br /> Absent : City Clerk , B. E . Myers . <br /> Upon motion of Councilman Christensen , seconded by Councilman Jones , and carried , <br /> Councilman Eva was elected Clerk pro tem. <br /> Affidavit of service of notice calling this special meeting was received and ordered <br /> filed. <br /> There was read a letter from the Planning Commission relating to the set back lines <br /> upon certain streets in the Redwood Highlands section of said city and an ordi- <br /> nance changing the set back lines upon those certain streets mentioned in the <br /> Planning Commission ' s letter , was introduced on motion of Councilman Fletcher , <br /> seconded by Councilman Christensen , and the hearing on the changing of said set <br /> back lines was set by the Council for December 7 , 1936 , at g : 00 o ' clock p . m. <br /> After discussion of a request for a contribution from the Red Cross, upon motion of <br /> Councilman Christensen , seconded by Councilman McNulty , it was ordered that a <br /> warrant for seventy-five ( $75 ) dollars in favor of the Red Cross be drawn. <br /> A letter was received from the Veterans of Foreign Wars and was ordered filed. <br /> There being no further business , the meeting adjourned . <br /> inc-} <br /> / City Clerk pro tern <br />
