by Councilman McNulty , it was decided to appropriate for this purpose $250 . 00 . <br /> The Clerk read a letter fromW . B. Dean of Chico asking what action , if any , the Council had <br /> taken or intended to take to meet the 1915 Act delinquencies . The Clerk was instructed <br /> to convey to Mr. Dean the decision of the Council to make a special levy to take care <br /> of the interest . <br /> In a letter from Frew Morton , Foster and Kleiser Company , San Francisco , requested permission <br /> to change panels on the Bayshore Highway and Main Street and also to re-build one on <br /> Broadway. On motion of Councilman Christensen, seconded by Councilman Fletcher , per- <br /> mission was granted. <br /> A communication was received from the Stockton Chamber of Commerce requesting delegates of <br /> Redwood City to the convention of the League of California Municipalities to be held <br /> in Pasadena this year to vote for Stockton as the convention city for 1935. <br /> The departmental reports were ordered filed. <br /> The approved claims were ordered paid on motion of Councilman Fletcher , seconded by Council- <br /> man McNulty. <br /> Adjournment. <br /> City Clerk: <br /> BE I:MR <br /> MINUTES OF REGULAR ',METING <br /> ±ELYOOD CITY COUNCIL <br /> AUGUST 20 , 1934 <br /> Eg : 00 P .M . <br /> Upon roll call , the following Councilmen were present : Mayor , C . Absent : None . <br /> The minutes of the meeting of August 6 , 1934 , were approved on motion of Councilman Fletcher , <br /> seconded by Councilman ?.'ciTulty. <br /> There ras read a letter , dated August 13 , from the State Railroad Commission announcing an <br /> adjourned hearing in Case No . 3838 at San Carlos , September 6 , to take up recommendations <br /> made concerning the closing of certain streets and the placing of certain signs at rail- <br /> road crossings , and requestin; that Redwood City be represented . The Cleric was asked to <br /> achnorlede the letter and to tell the Comission that someone would represent Redwood <br /> City. He was also to notify the Chamber of Cor_uaerce . Consideration of the matter was <br /> tut over to be taken up at the next neetinc; . <br /> H. L. Williams appeared before the Council to protest the re-valuation of his troperty between <br /> .' addlefield Road and Heller Streets . The value had been reduced on the improvements from <br /> $2 , 550 to $2 , 000 , but after considerin .; Hr.
