No . 30033 ) ? <br /> PROPOSITION NO . 2 : Shall the City of Redwood City incur <br /> a bonded indebtedness in the aggregate <br /> principal amount of $575 , 000 in accordance with the provi- <br /> sions of the Ordinance calling the election at which this <br /> proposition is submitted , for the purpose of acquiring , <br /> constructing and completing the following municipal im- <br /> provement , to wit : An electric distribution system, includ- <br /> ing lands , rights of way , easements , poles , lines , wires , <br /> conduits , transformers , meters , sub- stations , insulators , <br /> switches , distribution and service wires , fixtures , apparatus <br /> and equipment , and all other works , property or structures <br /> necessary or convenient for distributing electric energy <br /> to said City and its inhabitants for light , heat and power? <br /> Section 2 . The object and purpose for which said <br /> indebtedness stated in Proposition No . I referred to in Section <br /> 1 of this Ordinance is proposed to be incurred is the acquisition <br /> under eminent domain proceedings or otherwise of properties of <br /> the Pacific Gas and Electric Company now owned and operated by <br /> the Pacific Gas and Electric Company for the purpose of distri- <br /> buting electric energy to consumers within the corporate limits <br /> of the City of Redwood City and certain territory adjacent <br /> thereto , including generally primary and secondary circuits , <br /> distribution and service lines , poles , conduits , distribution <br /> transformers , meters , meter and transformer records , line <br /> devices , manholes and under-ground facilities , bus work and all <br /> other necessary distribution facilities and equipment , all fran- <br /> chises and franchise rights , easements and rights of way used <br /> or useful for maintaining and operating said electric distribu- <br /> tion system, exclusive of certain lands , together with the <br /> K <br />
