Eacla provider will ent�er inta contract with the District as a contractar of t�e Extended Day <br /> prc�gram. Tlze contracts pote�tial grant award amount is 85°fo af the grant award unless agreed to <br /> otherwise by tl�e District and�rovider. <br /> Supplemental Funds are awarded at the same rate as the Base Grant. Programs willing to <br /> provide 6 hours of programming during the summer need to notify the District, who will get <br /> authorization from the State ta adjust reimbursement rate frorn$7.50 to $I5.00. <br /> Each provider shall submit invoices to the District far payment. Invoices should be directed the <br /> ASES �rr�nt Manager at�d receiv�ed bi-annually. <br /> I�IVQICES ARE DUE TU THE IyTSTRICT BY: <br /> January IS—for per�od July 1 —December 3l <br /> July 15—far per�od January 1 —.tune 30 <br /> Invoices should reflect services provided during the biliing period. The amount of each irrvoice <br /> should r�flect the e�rned att�ndance reimbursement for that period. <br /> :Providers are required to k�e� accurate f scal recards of grant expendstures and required <br /> matching funds. These records shatl be made availatale to the District at the District's request. <br /> STAFFING <br /> The Galif'arnia Department c�fEdueatian also dictates rnany staff��requirements, including. <br /> � E��h program employ an after schoal prograrn site coardinator for each site. <br /> , The selectic�n af tbe Site Goordinator rnust be approved by the schoc�l principal <br /> � Programs must maintain an adult-student ra�ia af 1;20. <br /> � Atl staff used in the above ratio must meet the District's minimum qualifications fvr an <br /> instructional aide; <br /> Redw�►od Citv Schoal District Instructional Aic�e r�quirements: <br /> 0 2 years of cc�llege—48 units <br /> OR <br /> c� High Schflal Diploma/�rED AND pass District Instructianal Aide Exam {75% is passing <br /> gr�de) <br /> § AII staff must successfully pass fingerprinting(Department c�f Justice}and TB testing <br /> § Ail staff must take the mandated reporter training beft�re they can be witb students. Staff can <br /> tak�the training crnline or in person. Staff need to take the mandated reporter train'tng onc� a <br /> year. <br /> The Redwood City School District also requires that: <br /> � Site Cot�rdinators are not in ratio (unless there is a staff sl�artage or c�ther need) and work a <br /> minimum of 30 haurs per week at the school site <br /> � At the Community Schools (Taft, Hoaver, Fair C?aks and K.ennedy) the Cammunity Schaal <br /> Cc�c�rdinator will be invalved in the selectian of th�e Site Cavrdinator, and will be the contact <br /> persan for the provider.
