o Place purge water in 55-gallon drums for proper disposal. <br /> Task 1.3— Chemical Analysis of Groundwater Samples <br /> • Consultant will submit groundwater samples to a State-certified chemical <br /> testing laboratory under chain-of-custody for analysis of a select list of <br /> HVOCs that include: PCE; TCE; cis-1,2-DCE; trans-1,2-DCE; 1,1-DCE; and <br /> vinyl chloride, by EPA Method 8260B. In addition, each quarter Consultant <br /> will submit groundwater samples from finro selected wells to Microbial Insights <br /> laboratory for microbial (DNA) analyses of Dehalococcoides (DHC), a <br /> microorganism known to facilitate the degradation of HVOCs, to further <br /> establish baseline levels of DHC in groundwater at the site. <br /> Task 1.4— Quarterly Monitoring Reports (QMRs) <br /> • Upon completion of Tasks 1.2 and 1.3, Consultant will prepare a Groundwater <br /> Monitoring Report each quarter, and upload the report to the Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board (RWQCB) Geotracker database. An electronic copy of <br /> each report will also be provided to the City. <br /> Task 2— Remedial Design Activities <br /> Consultant submitted a revised Remedial Action Plan (RAP) to the RWQCB on May 4, <br /> 2016, in response to RWQCB's comments on the draft RAP. Public notification was <br /> made by the City of a 30-day public comment period for the revised final RAP, <br /> commencing on June 27, 2016, and a Project Fact Sheet (approved by RWQCB) was <br /> provided. <br /> Task 2.1— Task Management/Regulatory Communications <br /> • Consultant will continue to manage the remedial planning and design tasks <br /> described below, including field oversight of the remediation pilot test that is <br /> planned for October 2016. This task also includes ongoing communications <br /> with RWQCB staff, the City, and Regency Centers, in support of the planned <br /> remedial activities, including project meetings, as needed. In addition, <br /> Consultant will manage the project budgetary and invoicing activities under <br /> this task. <br /> • Consultant will also coordinate with the City and Regency Centers on a Site <br /> access agreement to replace the License and Access Agreement between <br /> the City and Regency Centers, executed on November 12, 2014, which only <br /> allows for groundwater monitoring activities on the Site. <br /> Task 2.2—Pilot Test Scope-of-Work and Bid Evaluation/Award <br /> • Consultant prepared the pilot test scope-of-work document, advertised by the <br /> City on July 22, 2016. A job walk with prospective bidders was held on July <br /> 26, 2016. Contractor bids are due on August 10, 2016. Consultant will <br /> evaluate the bids and the bidder qualifications, and will recommend the <br /> preferred bidder to the City.
