The Planning Commissioners present reached consensus in favor of the <br /> subject agreement , and unanimously requested that this item be scheduled <br /> for a public hearing . <br /> An ordinance amending Section 40 . 5 ( k) of the Redwood City Code ( Powers <br /> and duties of the Planning Commission relating to Historic Preservation ) <br /> to allow the Planning Commission to recommend adoption , and <br /> administration of individual Mills Act agreements , is expected to be <br /> presented to the City Council in the near future . <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION : The implementation of Mills Act agreements is <br /> expected to insure the maintenance and restoration of historically <br /> significant structures , which under Section 15301 ( d ) of CEQA is <br /> categorically exempt from environmental review . <br /> PROJECT RECOMMENDATION : That the Planning Commission recommend to the City <br /> Council the adoption , by resolution , of the attached document regarding <br /> historic property preservation agreements (Mills Act ) . <br /> CONDITIONS : N/A <br /> • <br /> PREPARED BY : CJ : eh ( 5/ 18/90 ) <br /> REVIEWED BY : JP ( 5/22/90 ) <br /> 2 <br />
