(ii) The adjustment authorized by the variance, if granted, would <br />constitute a grant of a special privilege contrary to the provisions of <br />Section 43.3b of the Zoning Ordinance in that other lots in the vicinity of <br />the subject property are similarly= situated and, if the variance were <br />granted it would encourage the issuance of similar such variances which, in <br />turn, would facilitate development of the area in a manner more intensive <br />that the general design and use of the area allows; <br />(iii) The granting of the variance would be contrary to the intent of <br />the Zoning Ordinance in contravention of Section 43.4c of the Zoning <br />Ordinance in that the development proposed under the variance would be more <br />intensive than the general development of the area, the development would <br />not be consistent with the general nature and appearance of the <br />neighborhood, would not blend harmoniously with the existing designs of <br />improvements in the neighborhood, and would be inconsistent with the density <br />of use of the existing development in the area. <br />Carried by unanimous voice vote. <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 90 -111 <br />-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />4.
