The motion was called and carried by the following roll call vote and public <br />hearing closed at 9:14 p.m.: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Buchan, Bury, Greenalch, Murray, Stangel and <br />Mayor La Berge <br />NOES: Councilman Claire <br />M /S: Bury / Stangel to direct staff to investigate the corporate status of <br />Christian Door and to investigate the parking situation in the area and to <br />report back to Council on December 10, 1990. <br />Speaking to the motion City Attorney Schricker advised the investigation <br />will only research the corporate status of the Christian Door to see if it <br />qualifies as a public or quasi - public use under the "CN" designation; <br />advised that although the public hearing was closed, Mr. Moreno who has a <br />property rights interest could be invited to speak on December 10, 1990 if <br />the Council wishes; and no further notification of the continued meeting <br />will be given. <br />Carried by the following roll call vote: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Buchan, Bury, Claire, Murray, Stangel and <br />Mayor La Berge <br />NOES: Councilman Greenalch <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 90 -178 <br />--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />17. PUBLIC HEARING - appeal of the decision of the Zoning Administrator which <br />denied an Architectural Permit to construct a second -story addition on a <br />nonconforming duplex - Christina and Richard Stull, appellants <br />LOCATION: 1010 Jones Court, being a portion of Lot 4; Friendly <br />Acres Subdivision No. 1; APN 055 - 042 -610; "R -2" (Residential <br />Duplex) District <br />Affidavits of Mailing and of Notice of Hearing publication is on file. <br />REPORT: Planning Director, 11/19/90 <br />Planning Director Patterson presented the staff report. <br />Mayor La Berge declared the public hearing open at 9:30 p.m. <br />The following people addressed the Council: <br />Richard Stull, 1010 Jones Court, Redwood City, appellant, described two <br />other homes on Jones Street with additions; advised the $55 construction <br />figure he used would be within the 12.5% allowable limit according to <br />Section 33.12; and there would be no increase in parking needs as the <br />additional bedroom is for a child he and his wife plan to have in the <br />future. <br />Reg.
