Citywide Transportation Plan: Scope of Work B.B. - Page 8
October 2016
diverse range of stakeholders. We will identify any special considerations for each event such as
translation needs, food, and/or childcare. We will update the draft Outreach Plan based on one
round of City comments to produce a final version.
We envision three major waves of outreach:
• Existing conditions listening and learning (to get input on needs and opportunities),
paired with enthusiasm building and outreach list development (to enable ongoing
communication as the Plan evolves and events occur). This wave will include social
media, web and text communication as well as "pop up" events.
• Project analysis and development (to collaborate with stakeholders to refine projects
identified in the first outreach effort, on project design and feasibility). This wave will
include social media, web and text communication as well as walking audits, focus
groups, and living previews.
• Plan review and implementation (to get input on investment and implementation
strategies). This wave will include social media, web and text communication as well as
larger public workshops.
Deliverables:Draft and Final Outreach Plan.
Task B.2: Branding and Fact Sheet
To create a consistent look and feel for the Citywide Transportation Plan,as well as build excitement
and followership, we will develop a logo and print/e-templates to be used with all Plan products.
We will develop alternative logo concepts, and respond to two rounds of consolidated comments
to finalize the logo and associated templates (MS Word and MS PowerPoint).
At the outset of the Plan,we will create a project fact sheet that can be distributed in paper form at
key events and City facilities, as well as electronically via the project website and social media
channels. The fact sheet will be designed to have a unique shape (such as a wheel or the Redwood
City logo) and will be developed in both Spanish and English. We will provide a draft fact sheet
and then respond to one round of a consolidated set of comments to finalize the factsheet. We
will print 1,500 copies.
Deliverables: Draft and final logo and templates. Draft and final electronic fact sheet and
print copies.
