The program structure will be based on key <br /> findings from our existing conditions evaluation and identify the needs and actions for continuing <br /> monitoring in the future. <br /> Monitoring options may include automatic data counters and use of third party big data sources. <br /> For automatic data sources, it would be possible to collect and report monthly statistics if desired. <br /> For manual data sources,we will work with the City to identify an appropriate data collection month <br /> for conducting annual monitoring. <br /> Deliverable: White paper outlining what data to collect, how it could be collected, at what <br /> frequency, and at what anticipated cost. <br /> TASK E: TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERING STANDARDS AND DESIGN <br /> GUIDELINES <br /> Task E.1: High Level Review and Update of Existing Standards <br /> As part of this task, the Fehr& Peers team will perform a high level review of City of Redwood City <br /> Engineering Standards. This review will include street design criteria, driveways and off-street <br /> parking, traffic control, signing, lighting and associated design details. <br /> The Engineering Standards will be compared to state and industry standards and best practices, <br /> such as the Caltrans 6th Edition Highway Design Manual (HDM) and the NACTO publications of the <br /> Urban Street Design Guide, the Transit Street Design Guide, and the Urban Bikeway Design Guide. <br /> The Fehr & Peers team will review the following sections of the City of Redwood City Engineering <br /> Standards: <br /> • Volume 2: Standard Details (only details referenced in the sections below) <br /> • Volume 3: Design Criteria <br /> o Part III: Street Design Criteria <br /> o Part IV: Driveways and Off-Street Parking and Loading Facilities <br /> o Part VIII: Traffic Control, Signing and Lighting <br />
