8.B. - Page 25 portation Plan: Scope of Work <br /> October 2016 <br /> Page 20 of 21 <br /> • Revisions to City on and off street parking standards <br /> • Amending land use plans along high-capacity transit corridors <br /> • Clarification of or revisions to General Plan transportation policies or actions <br /> • Adoption of updated level of service standards and CEQA significance criteria <br /> • Special legislation that may be needed for new technology solutions proposed as part of <br /> the Plan <br /> • Preparation of CEQA documentation, such as an Initial Study or Mitigated Negative <br /> Declaration <br /> Funding Strategy (Optional) <br /> A funding strategy for the Plan will be developed was well listing potential funding sources for <br /> transportation improvements and recommending an approach for achieving the necessary funding <br /> for key projects. As part of this effort, we will identify the opportunities for traditional funding <br /> sources such as: <br /> • Local funding:from impact and developer fees and local gas tax funds <br /> • County Funds: SMCTA Sales Tax <br /> • State funding: primarily, through San Mateo County's State Transportation Improvement <br /> Program (STIP) shares, CPUC grade separation funds, SHOPP, HSR <br /> • Federal funding: primarily through programs such as the Highway Bridge Replacement and <br /> Rehabilitation Program (HBRRP) <br /> We will also identify the necessary steps for completing an update to the City's transportation <br /> impact fee program in order to include the range of multimodal improvements likely to be identifies <br /> in the Citywide Transportation Plan. For competitive funding sources,we will document the factors <br /> necessary for ensuring funding applications are successful, including: <br /> • Matching the project to the funding source <br /> • Timing of the funding <br /> • Project readiness and delivery method <br /> Optional Deliverable: Draft Phasing, Implementation and Funding Plan to be incorporated into <br /> overall Citywide Transportation Plan document <br />
