From:CD-Jessica Manzi
To:CD-Stacy Nicol
Subject:Fw: Questions re: Evaluation Summary
Date:Wednesday, October 12, 2016 6:15:16 AM
From: Wilson Lew <> Sent: Tuesday,
October 11, 2016 9:56 PM To: GRP-Farm
Hill Feedback
Subject: Questions re: Evaluation Summary
Hello ---
I was looking at the evaluation summary for the Farmhill Rd Project and have a few questions.
1)How did the corridor travel times decrease especially if there is an increase in intersection delays due
to *increased* vehicle demand? How or when were the corridor times determined? I ask because it
seems contradictory to the experience that I have had --- I have mostly seen an increase in travel times.
2)What is the reason the average delay for vehicles making left turn decrease? I have found it be
more difficult to turn left on to Farm Hill Rd from Cambridge Rd. Are you referring to vehicles turning left
from Farm Hill Rd on to side streets?
3)If the changes made by the pilot program does indeed increase safety, why stop with the changes at
Alameda de las Pulgas? Why not go all the way down to El Camino? It would make the street safer for
those residents that live along those areas as well.
Thank you for your time.
Take care,
Wilson
8.A. - Page 57
