Reclaimed Water Management - Park and Recreation Facilities Report: Director of Parks, Recreation and Community Services, 4/5/91 Parks, Recreation and Community Services Director Griffiths presented the staff report describing new guidelines designating some park facilities to receive no reclaimed or irrigated water except for larger trees and shrubs; the cost of using trucks to distribute reclaimed water; and the current allocation accounts. Council discussed costs and other impacts on park facilities, generally and specifically, created by current and future water policies; and recognized the significant amount of potable water that will be reserved for the City's use through this reclaimed water program.
