Task B.2: Branding and Fact Sheet
To create a consistent look and feel for the Citywide Transportation Plan, as well as
build excitement and followership, Consultant will develop a logo and print/e-templates
to be used with all Plan products. Consultant will develop alternative logo concepts, and
respond to two rounds of consolidated comments to finalize the logo and associated
templates (MS Word and MS PowerPoint).
At the outset of the Plan, Consultant will create a project fact sheet that can be
distributed in paper form at key events and City facilities, as well as electronically via the
project website and social media channels. The fact sheet will be designed to have a
unique shape (such as a wheel or the Redwood City logo) and will be developed in both
Spanish and English . Consultant will provide a draft fact sheet and then respond to one
round of a consolidated set of comments to finalize the factsheet. 1 ,500 copies will be
printed .
Deliverables: Draft and final logo and templates. Draft and final electronic fact
sheet and print copies.
Task B.3: Web Presence and Social Media
In coordination with the City's website and social media channels, Consultant will
develop a project website, interactive web map, and social media material to provide
engagement opportunities beyond in-person meetings and events.
The website will be developed in WordPress and include seven to nine pages. It will
feature a social media widget to display feeds from relevant hashtags and social media
handles, and a calendar to advertise key project events. It will also include a link to the
interactive web map (see below). Much of the website will be dedicated to educational
materials related to the existing context of Redwood City, and the costs and benefits
associated with various recommendations and investment scenarios. A Spanish
language version of the project website will also be developed .
After the initial website launch, Consultant will update the website monthly with fresh
content throughout the course of the Plan development. Consultant will respond to one
set of consolidated comments on the draft website design and any new website content.
Consultant will create an interactive webmap to allow community members to note a
location and place a comment about mobility experiences at a given location. The
webmap will be used in three rounds:
O To get input on issues and opportunities present in the City
® To get input on which recommendations resonate and also on priorities
O To present a series of "story maps" to display key content
Consultant will respond to one set of consolidated comments on each webmap round .
ATTY/AGR/2016.308/FEHR & PEERS CITYWIDE TRANSPORTATION PLAN
REV: 11-03-16 VR
