4. Utilizing the digital CAD files and as-built drawings from the previous projects in Verde's <br /> possession, develop existing conditions base for the intended improvements. <br /> 5. Determine method for selecting the replacement synthetic turf and determining if the City <br /> wants to include a shock pad vendor, as applicable. <br /> Task 2: Initial Design (50% Design Submittal) <br /> This initial design will be used as the basis for the development of the Final Design. The tasks <br /> include, but not limited to the following : <br /> 1 . Attend one meeting with the City to review the findings and project recommendations. <br /> Meeting agenda and minutes will be provided. <br /> 2. Set up CAD background files and applicable drawing sheets. <br /> 3. Develop a 50% CD submittal package (three sets to be provided). The package will include <br /> the following at a minimum : <br /> a. Cover sheet <br /> b. Existing conditions plans <br /> c. Demolition plans <br /> d. Grading and drainage plans <br /> e. Layout/material plans <br /> f. Construction details <br /> g. Technical Specifications <br /> h. identification of possible staging areas <br /> i. Temporary construction easements <br /> j. General and construction notes <br /> k. Construction phasing options <br /> I. Preliminary Statement of Probable Construction Costs <br /> 4. The 50% submittal will provide design analysis as requested including: <br /> a. Any miscellaneous technical data <br /> b. Maintenance considerations <br /> c. Catalogue cut sheets for special equipment <br /> Task 3: Pre-Final Design (90% Design Submittal) <br /> 1 . Incorporate 50% design submittal review comments. <br /> 2. Develop a 90% PS&E submittal package (three sets to be provided) based on the <br /> comments received on the 50% submittal package. <br /> 3. Internal Redline/QC review by Verde staff. <br /> 4. Attend one meeting with City staff to present and review 90% package. <br /> Task 4: Bid Package (100% Design Submittal) <br /> 1 . Incorporate comments received from the City on the 90% Design Submittal. <br /> 2. Prepare the 100% Design Submittal including complete construction documents, <br /> specifications and cost estimates. <br /> 3. Internal Redline/QC review by Verde staff. <br /> 4. The 100% Design Submittal shall be ready for signature and one set will be submitted to the <br /> City for review and approval . A marked set will be returned along with staffs comments <br /> and/or clarifications for revision. <br /> 5.
