<br /> ~. 2 A- 3 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN <br /> AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR COMPREHENSIVE STREET <br /> TREE MAINTENANCE WITH ARBORICUL TURAL SPECIAL TIES, INC. <br /> DBA THE PROFESSIONAL TREE CARE COMPANY <br /> WHEREAS, on June 11, 2001, the City Council of Redwood City authorized <br /> entering into an agreement for comprehensive street tree maintenance with <br /> Arboricultural Specialties, Inc. dba The Professional Tree Care Company. The <br /> agreement provided for extensions up to four (4) additional years; and <br /> WHEREAS, on August 11, 2002 and August 25, 2003, the City Council, among <br /> other things, authorized extending the agreement for one additional year, respectively; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City wishes to extend the agreement for an additional one-year <br /> period, reduce the scope of service amount and retain the ability to add additional funds <br /> to the agreement. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. That certain amendment by and between the City of Redwood City and <br /> Arboricultural Specialties, Inc. dba The Professional Tree Care Company, for <br /> comprehensive street tree maintenance is hereby approved and the City Manager and <br /> City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute and to attest thereto, respectively, said <br /> amendment on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> * * * <br /> Atty/Reso/Reso.1485 <br /> 081704 <br /> .- - - -- - T- - <br />
