6.3.C. - Page 5 EXHIBIT A CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RECYCLED WATER PRICING POLICY 1. Discount shall apply to prevailing potable water rates and charges in effect at the time of physical connection, and as those rates and charges may be amended from time to time. 2. Customers will be responsible to pay for and perform all site retrofits and development costs. 3. All discounts shall be applied to monthly water utility bills. 4. Discounts for meters/accounts that connect to recycled water after the adoption of this resolution: a. For Irrigation meters/accounts: i. Beginning with the first billing period following connection to the Recycled Water Project for a duration of 3 years a discount of twenty- five percent (25%). ii. At the end of 3 years the discount shall decrease by five percent (5%) each year for three (3) consecutive years and then remain at a discount of ten percent (10%). b. For Non -irrigation meters/accounts: i. Beginning with the first billing period following connection to the Recycled Water Project for a duration of 3 years a discount of forty percent (40%). ii. At the end of 3 years the discount shall decrease by ten percent (10%) each year for three (3) consecutive years and then remain at a discount of ten percent (10%). 5. Discounts for meters/accounts connected to recycled water, and retrofitted prior to adoption of this resolution: a. For Irrigation meters/accounts: i. Beginning with the first billing period following connection to the Recycled Water Project for a duration of 5 years a discount of twenty- five percent (25%). ii. At the end of 5 years the discount shall decrease by five percent (5%) each year for three (3) consecutive years and then remain at a discount of ten percent (10%).
