2129 <br />COMMUNICATIONS: <br />Acknowledgment of receipt of Council's Resolution regarding <br />proposed fishing pier at the Redwood City Municipal Marina <br />from Wildlife Conservation Board and of their taking initial <br />steps to obtain justification for proposed project. <br />Notification of conference meeting of Local Agency Formation <br />Commission, to be held June 29, 1966, 9:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m., Hilton <br />Inn, San Francisco International Airport, (Council requested they <br />be personally contacted for confirmation of any reservations to be <br />made.) <br />Note of appreciation from Bill Shewry's family for Council's kind <br />actions during their bereavement. <br />Councilman Granger asked whether any action had been taken by Planning Commission <br />concerning upgrading of service station construction since he had expressed his <br />protest. Planning Director advised there had been no further applications made <br />for service station use permits, however, he was cognizant of Council's opinion and <br />had informed the Commission. City Attorney clarified type of limited control avail- <br />able to Council in regard to construction and aesthetics. <br />Councilman Granger also questioned facts available for his review on statements made <br />by State concerning Woodside Road widening when presentation made by Council members. <br />Councilman Rosselli moved that Council policy relating to Council meetings, Mayor's <br />statement concerning Agenda material, and all ordinances submitted for review, be <br />on Council's next Agenda of July 11th, seconded by Councilman Keekley and carried. <br />(MINUTE ORDER #66-158) <br />Councilman Rosselli moved to adjourn, seconded by Councilman Bury and carried.
