243 N. M. McKenzie, 3470 Michael Drive, protested lack of services in general for Friendly Acres area. City Manager advised the Resolution adopted intended to reject the present bids and then readvertise because believes better bids can be had. Councilman Rosselli stated survey favoring a Recreation Building for the area arrived too late and committee had already made their recommendations for the pool. Councilman Henderson said the space at Taft School was proven inadequate for a recreation building after study. Councilman Bury stated Friendly Acres recreation services had been of prime impor- tance to the Council and solutions would be met. He also made suggestion that - transportation be afforded to children from this area to swimming pool at Community Park for this summer. Application of William R. Barnett for exception to the Subdivision Ordinance to allow two lots with less than a 50 -foot frontage on a street, and approval of subdivision into four lots, a Portion of Lot 1, Block 17, Oak Knoll Manor, presented for con- sideration. Planning Commission report recommends approval, subject to certain conditions. Staff concurs in the Planning Commission recommendation. Councilman Granger moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 5094 GRANTING EXCEPTION TO PRO- VISIONS OF CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, BEING THE SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AND APPROVING A SUBDIVISION THEREUNDER - WILLIAM R. BARNETT, seconded by Councilman Keckley and carried on roll call vote. Councilman Rosselli moved to introduce Ordinance amending Section 25.35 of Chapter 25 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, relating to buoys, markers, and obstruc- tions in the Redwood City Marine Harbor, seconded by Councilman Keckley and carried. Councilman Rosselli moved to: (a) Accept Bay Road Area Storm Drainage System, SD I, Project Unit I (b) Bay Road Storm Drain System, Unit 2, Broadway Pumping Station, seconded by Councilman Keckley and carried. (MINUTE ORDER #66-165A & 165B) Councilman Keckley moved to introduce Ordinance amending Section 27.61 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, relating to sewer connection fees, seconded by Councilman Rosselli and carried.
