They
expressed their intention to report to the BCDC Commission at meeting of October
6th, a favorable recommendation on "A" dredge, which will permit us to proceed
immediately with this phase of Marine World project. This settlement goes along
with County plan and would provide for meeting BCDC requirements for access and com-
pensation for ecological damage which might occur because of "B" dredge. The Reso-
lution provides for County and City to each contribute $50,000.
The Manager contacted M. Waltman and Phillip Erhlich of ABC; requested from them
authorization to release $25,000 previously committed by the City for amenities at
the entrance of Marine World, and use this money as a portion of City's $50,000
to match County's contribution.
