277 <br />Councilman Rosselli felt good guidelines had been presented in City Manager's <br />report, and moved to accept report presented and authorize him to continue to <br />work with Woodside, County, and other adjacent cities to try to accomplish a <br />consolidated sewage program as proposed, seconded by Councilman Granger. On <br />question, Councilman Keckley suggested an additional condition to those pre- <br />sented relating to control of future density, as preventing future development <br />in Woodside area which would be detrimental to City if sewage could not be con- <br />trolled. City Attorney advised this was similar to conditions in the Oak Knoll <br />Sewer District contractwhich stated sewer connection possible to single family <br />dwelling only and additional area could not be included without Council consent. <br />He advised this condition could be added to this instance as well. Maker and <br />Second of motion agreed to inclusion of additional condition recommended by <br />Councilman Keckley and motion carried. (MINUTE ORDER #66-148) <br />Mayor Herkner requested approval of By -Laws of Council of Mayors as had been submitted <br />to Council previously, as meeting to be held on December 2nd. <br />Councilman Granger moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 5210 APPROVING BY-LAWS OF, AND <br />INDICATING INTENT TO, PARTICIPATE IN THE COUNCIL OF MAYORS OF SAN MATEO COUNTY, <br />seconded by Councilman Rosselli and carried on roll call vote. <br />Councilman Rosselli asked that members of the College Site Committee meet at 8:00 <br />a.m., December 2, in City Manager's office, to finalize presentation to be made <br />later in the day to officials on State College Site recommendations. M. by Mayor Herkner. <br />Report concerning El Camino - Oak Intersection. Councilman Rosselli, Chairman of "ad hoc" <br />Committee meeting with property owners and tenants concerning their request to open <br />median barrier on El Camino and install signalization at Oak Avenue, stated Mr. Glen <br />Smallcomb had asked that this item be continued for one week in order that he might <br />procure signed pledge statements on participation of costs from tenants and property <br />owners affected,before presentation to Council. Mayor Herkner advised this would <br />be continued to next Council Agenda as requested. (Memo 12/6/66) <br />Councilman Henderson announced she had received calls from Mr. Fred Gates and Mrs. <br />Barrentine, of Redwood City Civic Association, asking that consideration of intro- <br />duction of Grading Ordinance be continued until they had received copies for their <br />review of revised ordinance proposed.
